The medicine of hummingbird is JOY. An encounter with hummingbird is always uplifting, always a gift.

Here we list initiatives, events & folk {donors & wonders}, who clearly qualify as…. Hummingbird; in the spirit of. This List will surely grow and grow!

‘Bright August Joy’ image by Francene Hart. We very much wanted to use this particular image in conjunction with 1000 Hummingbird Visionary Work and Francene generously granted permission to do so. Francene’s phenomenal art graces the airport terminal in Hawaii. This image may be found as part of her Sacred Geometry Card deck.

Speesees made us hummingbird bandanas to the utter delight of sisters who will remain nameless but know who they are!

EcoTrust’s ‘Salmon Nation’s Food Traditions’ (donated for Silent Auction} – “…teaches us that with effort, education and optimism, endangered foods and food traditions can be revitalized, sustained and, just as importantly, savored.” —Devon Mihesuah, author of Recovering Our Ancestors’ Gardens: Indigenous Recipes and Guide to Diet and Fitness

Tree-Free Greeting Cards (Kanaf) - contributed to our Silent Auction.  Tree-Free make brightly colored eco-friendly (no Trees were cut down) cards & envelopes, gift bags & tissue {all tree-free of course}. They have done a stellar job in education and promotion and their broad range of Kenaf cards (and envelopes which are equally sumptious!) may be found in many mainstream stores.
